Our Gear
Here you will find video demonstrations, information and specifications on our gear, along with our video manuals on how to operate and maintain it.
Demonstration – ASV with ALP Configuration
See our aviation survival vest and PFDs in action in this hands-on demo. Here we demonstrate the water resistance of the automatic inflation mechanism, show an automatic deployment of the PFDs, and what they look like installed on the aviation survival vest. The PFDs are MOLLE mounted and can also be installed on a variety of MOLLE gear.
The Aviation Survival Vest - ASV01
This video demonstrates how to strap up the aviation survival vest. Internal to the vest is a harness system that is size adjustable. There are 2 attach points in the event that the vest is used to be clipped onto to suspend the wearer. The primary attach point you see marked with yellow reflective material on the front chest area of the harness. There is a backup attach point loop in the rear.

Built for mobility and real-world survival, the vest has an integrated harness system that can be used to lift the wearer out of a variety of rescue situations.
Fire Resistance
The body of the vest is constructed with a fire resistant treated 1000D DuPont Cordura. This helps protect the aviator in the event they are exposed to fire.
Integrated Adjustable Harness
The vest’s integrated harness is sufficient for lifting the aviator out of a variety of rescue operations.
MOLLE System
The vest’s integrated MOLLE system allows you to attach any MOLLE compatible gear down the front, sites, or rear of the vest.

The Aviation Life Preservers - ALP01
The PFD are configured as side-mounted inflators, with 2 mounted per vest. They are MOLLE mounted so that the wearer can strategically place them to avoid interference in tight cockpit spaces. Positioned away from the chest and shoulders, the side inflators allow for a full range of motion and easy activation—ensuring comfort in flight and rapid inflation when it matters most.
High Buoyancy - Rated Greater Than 150N Per Side Inflator
Many standard collar inflators are rated 150N for buoyancy. Our side inflators are rated greater than 150N per inflator (2 inflators per wearer). This increased buoyancy helps increase PFD effectiveness even when the aviator may be weighed down with other gear.
Configurable for Automatic or Manual Inflation
Our PFDs can be configured to deploy automatically, manually, or both. This helps promote additional use cases without having to buy more gear.
The default setup is automatic inflation (when submerged in water) along with a manual pull. However, if your operation requires manual pull only, the automatic inflation mechanism can be temporarily disabled. This can be useful in some helicopter SAR setups.
Fire Resistant Casing
The casing of the PFDs is constructed with the same fire resistant treated 1000D DuPont Cordura that the body of our survival vests are made with. This helps protect the aviator and gear in the event they are exposed to fire.

ALP01 PFD - How to Convert to Manual Only
By default, the ALP01 is configured for dual manual and automatic inflation when submerged in water. However, there may be some search and rescue or aircraft setups where manual inflation only might be a better option. With the ALP01 side inflators, you do not need additional gear to make this happen. In this video, we show you how to convert your APL01 to manual-only inflation. Once converted to manual-only inflation, they can be easily converted back to dual automatic and manual inflation using the reverse of this procedure.
The ALP01 PFD Rearm Kit and Procedure
This demo video shows you exactly how to rearm the PFD after deployment, walking through each step with clear visuals and instructions. You’ll learn how to safely replace the CO₂ cartridge and check the inflator status, making sure your gear is always mission-ready. Designed to be quick, affordable, and field-serviceable, this rearming process ensures you can get back in the air with confidence.

Non-Propriatary CO2s
One of the issues we ran into when designing these for Ukraine was the inability to air ship propriatary re-arm kits (CO2 air shipment regulations). Using non-propriatary CO2s, they can be sourced locally many places around the world.
